A Williamsburg man is in jail after taking Callaway County Deputies on a foot chase yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
According to deputies 53 year old Scott Allen was spotted at County Road 135 outside of Williamsburg just before 3.
Deputies report that Allen who has several felony Audrain County warrants arrest was pursued in his vehicle, then fled into a wooded area on foot.
A k-9 was able to successfully locate Allen hiding under a significant amount of fallen timber after an hour long search.
He was taken to the Audrain County Jail where he is being held with no bond.
