The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is investigating numerous reports involving tool thefts from businesses, residences and construction sites in the north Route B and Highway 63 North areas.
The department says they have received at least 8 reports of the thefts that started in early October.
A church storage building on North Brown Station Road was also burglarized and the suspects stole sound and video equipment.
The thefts occurred during the late night, to early evening hours.
