A brush fire along Highway 22 between Centralia and Mexico leads to some railroad ties catching on fire.
Little Dixie Fire Chief Ken Hoover says two trains were stopped for several hours yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon for safety reasons while his crews worked on the fire.
Chief Hoover says that the fire is under control, and his department will continue to monitor the situation through out the rest of the day.
