Multiple car accidents are being reported in Boone County this (Monday) morning and one person is dead.
Boone County Fire crews say they went Route B and Academy Road in Columbia close to 6 am, for a 2 car head on collision.
One driver was pronounced deceased the identity has not been released, the other driver was said to have had serious injuries.
A second crash happened shortly after 6 on Highway HH near Rodgers Road, this is reported as a one car accident with no injuries.
The third accident happened when a Boone County Sheriff’s Deputy and a volunteer firefighter were in a rollover crash on Route B near Flamingo Drive.
The deputy was taken to the hospital as a precaution, no injuries were reported to the volunteer firefighter.
