The person who lost their life in a head on collision in Boone County is being identified as 34 year old Thomas L. Willems of Centralia.
The accident happened yesterday (Monday) on Route B at Academy road just before 6 am.
According to the highway patrol 20 year old Isaiah J. Black of Sturgeon crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle driven by Willems.
A Boone County Medical Examiner pronounced Willems dead at the scene, Black suffered moderate injuries in the accident.
