A 21 year old Columbia man is in police custody after an arrest for a home invasion robbery this (Tuesday) morning.
Police report arresting Aidan Dennis Murphy for a home invasion in the 200 block of Apple Tree Court.
The investigation revealed Murphy and another male suspect forced entry into the home around 12:40 and police say Murphy struck a 35 year old woman in the face with a firearm.
Murphy and the other suspect are said to have taken property from the home, and left and then returned around 4 this (Tuesday) morning.
Police say the the victim called and they located Murphy in the hallway of the apartment building with brass knuckles and 2.94 grams of Meth.
The woman had minor injuries, the second suspect has not yet been arrested.
