One person is dead after house fire in Montgomery City yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
According to the Montgomery County Fire Protection District it happened around 2:30 yesterday (Thursday) in the 800 block of Cherry Street.
Fire fighters found the body inside the home while fighting the fire and the Montgomery County Coroner was called in to investigate.
An autopsy will now be conducted.
The identity of the person has not yet been released.
