Over 8,200 toys will be given to kids this Christmas after area schools took place in a friendly competition.

The challenge was issued to North Callaway, New Bloomfield, Mexico, South Callaway, and Fulton Schools to collect toys after over ten thousand dollars worth of donated toys were stolen from a Fulton storage unit in October.

The Fulton Schools came in first place 5985 toys collected, then it was North Callaway with 1270 in donations, and New Bloomfield in third with 950.
