Two Portland women have serious to moderate injuries after hitting a tree in Callaway County yesterday (Monday) morning.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened on Route D, .6 tenths of a mile south of County Road 4053.

20 year old Courtney Cook is said to have left the road hit a tree and overturned.

Cook and her passenger 25 year old Macey R. Dillon were taken to the University Hospital in Columbia to be treated for their injuries.
