JAMESTOWN MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH FATAL PHELPS COUNTY SHOOTING LAST WEEK

A St. James man is in police custody after an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting in Phelps County last week.

According to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department 26 year old Dallas Hogue was present at the time of the fatal shooting of Tanya Elaine Johnson last Saturday, December 23rd, and was in possession of a firearm.

A bond of fifty thousand dollars has been set, and Hogue is facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department or the Missouri Highway Patrol.
