Two people are recovering from injuries after a three car accident in Audrain County yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened close to 7 yesterday (Wednesday) morning on U.S. 54 at Route BB.

The accident happened when a vehicle crossed in front of another car hitting it in the passenger side forcing it into the left front end of a third car stopped at a stop sign.

60 year old Rita L. Mauer of Bellflower had serious injuries, and moderate injuries were reported to 48 year old Shelly A. Lincoln of Martinsburg.
