A candle left attended is to blame for a fire at a home in Jefferson City last (Wednesday) night.

The Jefferson City Fire Department reports it happened just before 5, at the 300 block of Case Avenue.

One adult and two children were inside the home at the time of the fire, however no injuries are being reported.
