Second Degree Murder charges are being brought against a Warrenton man in connection with the death of an infant.

According to court records an arrest was issued yesterday (Wednesday) for 25 year old Charles A. Holiday.

A three month old child was pronounced dead in June of 2015 and was with extensive trauma from at least three blunt force injuries.

According to police Holiday was the sole person caring for the infant at his home.

If Holiday is convicted of the crime, he faces a 30 year prison sentence.
