Health Officials across the state are reminding people to be aware about the rise of the flu across Missouri.

Sandra Hewlett Administrator of the Audrain County Health Department says Central Missouri is seeing three times the amount of Influenza A, they normally do.

Hewlett reports in Audrain County in October there were only 2 cases of influenza reported it went up to 156 in November, 260 in December, and it is currently over 300.
