A fourteen year old student at the Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Jefferson City is believed by police to be the sole suspect of a threat made yesterday (Monday).

According to Jefferson City Police they were made aware of a possible threat that was to be carried out at the school, and within 3 hours the student was detained for making terroristic threats.

Investigators say they cannot discuss the details of the threat, they have no reason to believe anyone else was involved in the threat and the case has been referred to the officials at the Prenger Family Center.
