MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING AT THE CAPITOL CALLING ON RESTORED FUNDING FOR SOBRIETY CHECKPOINTS

The Mothers Against Drunk Driving will have volunteers gather at the Capitol in Jefferson City today (Tuesday) to call on legislators to restore funding for sobriety checkpoints.

According to MADD the Missouri General Assembly slashed funding for sobriety checkpoints to one dollar during this years appropriations process.

The MADD National President, Representative Kathie Conway, and the Executive Director of MADD Missouri will make appearances at the Missouri State Capitol Rotunda at 11 this (Tuesday) morning.
