A wrongful death suit is being filed against the Second Chance Homes in Fulton along with many other people and organizations in the case of Carl Debrodie.

Carolyn Summers the mother of Debrodie is filing the suit claiming that all of the defendants failed Debrodie and attempted to cover up the circumstances of his death.

Along with the Second Chance Homes, 22 other people and organizations that include the Missouri Department of Mental Health and Callaway County are named in the suit.

Debrodie was reported missing on April 17th, from the Second Chance Homes and found encased in concrete in a storage facility after search that lasted for several days.
