The 58th annual Loafer’s Week kicks off today (Monday) and runs through Saturday in Auxvasse.

The event includes the shelling of peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor, card playing, free coffee, and the gathering of for meals.

It takes place at the Auxvasse Community Hall with noon meal served each day by a different organization.

Serving time starts at 11 am.

Today (Monday) the Fulton Relay for Life will be serving a Pulled Pork lunch.
