The City of Vandalia is currently getting patrol help from the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department.

Vandalia City Administrator Darrin Berry says they have been struggling on getting help due to several officers taking other jobs.

Mr. Berry says they are taking several ads out in area news papers to try and attract some officers to the city.

Also applications are available at city hall.
