The Jefferson City Police have upgraded a death investigation to murder.

Police responded yesterday [Sunday] to the 600 block of Clark Avenue. Throughout the course of today, detectives have interviewed a number of persons who were believed to have some knowledge of teh death.

Due to the nature of the scene, the investigation into 41 year old Ronald Rattler is now considered a murder. The investigation is still in the early stages. Rattler appears to have sustained at least one gunshot wound.
