The National Weather Service is issuing a Red Flag Warning for the state today (Tuesday) due to the gusty winds and low humidity.

Mexico Little Dixie Fire Protection Chief Ken Hoover says the potential for fire danger when burning outside is way up with the weather conditions.

Hoover says they state officials will re-evaluate weather conditions tomorrow (Monday) to see if the Red Flag Warning should be extended.
