The fate of the student accused of bringing a handgun and ammunition into the Centralia high school on February 16th will be decided by the school board.

The board met last (Monday) night and was expected to make their decision.

Superintendent Darrin Ford is saying that they do not plan on publicly sharing their decision.

The Centralia High School’s student handbook states the consequences for bring a firearm or weapon on school property is 10-180 days or out of school suspension plus a referral to the Board of Education for possible expulsion.
