A Chariton County Judge sentences a Clark man to 100 years in prison on ten counts of child molestation and child enticement yesterday (Thursday).

47 year old Alonzo Bernard Thorpe was found guilty of 8 counts of child molestation and two counts of child enticement after a two day jury trial in Chariton County.

The string of sexual assaults happened against two Randolph County children from 2011 to 2014, a change of venue was granted in the case and it was moved to a Chariton County Court.

Judge Andrea Vandeloecht sentenced Thorpe to a term of ten years on each of the ten counts and ordered those terms to run consecutively.
