U.S. SUPREME COURT GRANTS STAY OF EXECUTION FOR MISSOURI INMATE

A stay of execution is being granted for Missouri inmate Russell Bucklew who was scheduled to die by lethal injection last (Tuesday) night.

The U.S. Supreme Court granted the stay for Bucklew who argued that he suffers from a medical condition that may result in causing him undue suffering during the execution.

Bucklew was scheduled to be executed for killing a former girlfriend’s new boyfriend in a violent incident in 1996.

The U.S. Supreme Court stopped a his first scheduled execution in 2014.

The man suffers from a condition that causes weakened and malformed blood vessels, tumors in his head and throat and on his lip, plus vein problems.
