TWENTY THREE MILLION DOLLAR BOND PROPOSED BY THE SCHOOL OF OSAGE

The School of the Osage will be proposing a twenty three million dollar bond issue on the ballot in April.

If approved the district would use the money to build a new early childhood center and new arts and technology classrooms at the high school.

The district also wants to revamp their entrances so all visitors would enter through the main office which would strengthen security.

The bond would raise property taxes for residents in the school district by 15 cents per one hundred dollars assessed value, which equates to paying an $29.69 per year for the average homeowner.
