TWO EXTRICATED IN JEFFERSON CITY ACCIDENT

Two people are recovering from serious injuries after going airborne and hitting several trees in Jefferson City last (Tuesday) night.

According to the accident report it happened just after 5 in the area of East Dunklin and Lafayette Street.

Jefferson City Police say the vehicle traveled across Lafayette Street into a private driveway, up a grass embankment going airborne and hitting several trees before coming to rest on the south side of East Dunklin.

Officers say both the driver 34 year old Antionette Sanders and 47 year old Samuel Randle both of Jefferson City had to be extricated from the car and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
