A five car accident in Osage County causes the death of a Dixon man.

According to the highway patrol it happened yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon around 1:30 on US 63 at Route JJ.

The fatality accident happened when three cars were behind a vehicle making a left hand turn and one vehicle was hit causing a chain reaction where several cars went off the road and down an embankment.

55 year old David W. Harper was pronounced dead by the acting medical examiner Sheriff Michael Bonham.
