GREITENS’ PERSONAL LAWYER ASKS FOR DELAY IN STATE HOUSE COMMITTEE FINDINGS

The personal attorney for Missouri governor Eric Greitens is asking for a delay in the findings by the state house committee investing the governors actions during an extramarital affair.

A letter sent on Friday to the chairman of the committee Representative Jay Barnes says an ongoing criminal investigation is likely to uncover information that will make the report inaccurate.

Barnes would not comment on the letter.

The woman involved in the affair was deposed by Greitens’ lawyers last week and her ex-husband is scheduled to meet with them today (Monday).

The house committee is expected to release it findings within the week.
