FORMER PETTIS COUNTY AMBULANCE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR SENTENCED ON EMBEZZLEMENT CHARGES

A two year federal prison sentence is handed down to a former administrator of the Pettis County Ambulance District for embezzling over two hundred twenty seven thousand dollars.

According to court records 62 year old Michael Paul Grandner of Sedalia was sentenced in a federal court yesterday (Tuesday) and ordered to repay the embezzled funds to the district.

Prosecutors report Gardner admitted to forging board members signatures on 44 checks and received unapproved payroll expenses from 2015 through 2017, depositing the money into his personal bank accounts.
