More Missouri lawmakers are calling for Governor Eric Greitens to resign or to start impeachment proceedings following a house committee’s report on blackmail allegations against him.

Republican Senator Mike Kehoe of Jefferson City, along with Democratic State Senator Gina Walsh added their voices to the call of Greitens resignation.

Greitens himself has repeatedly said the truth will come at his trial on invasion of privacy charges showing no sign of backing down from his position as governor.

The trial is set for May 14th.
