A Monroe City man is recovering from serious injuries after hitting a tree in Ralls County yesterday (Sunday) morning.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports it happened on Bethlehem Trail, 6 miles south of Monroe City.

A vehicle left the road, struck a culvert and hit tree coming to rest in a ditch.

27 year old Elvis Solorio-Viveros was taken by survival flight to the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
