A Versailles man has serious injuries after nearly drowning at the Lake of the Ozarks yesterday (Monday) afternoon.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol 61 year old Charles Dowell tripped on a seat and fell over the boat near the 9 mile marker of the Gravois Arm close to 3:45.

He was taken to the Capital Region Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
