A Mexico, Missouri man is the recipient of a prestigious award.

Fred West recently found out he won the Lt. Governor’s Senior Service Award and says it is quite an honor.

Ione Bickell Mexico Senior Center Administrator nominated West and says its amazing the help he provides.

West will be honored at the state capitol rotunda in Jefferson City soon.

Also the Mexico Senior Center will be holding a celebration for West on Thursday, May 3rd.
