An investigation is underway by Columbia Police after a shooting at the Black and Gold bar early this (Thursday) morning.

Officers say they went to the bar at 2101 East Business Loop 70, around 2:16 this (Thursday) morning and found a 36 year old man was hit by gunfire.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the two other men involved in the altercation are said to have fled the area.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers or the Columbia Police Department.
