The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed they are investigating a homicide that took place early yesterday morning [Thursday] in the 10700 block of Platinum Drive, just outside Holts Summit.

Deputies and officers with the Holts Summit Police Department arrived on scene at 1:50 AM and upon making entry into the residence found a deceased male adult.

An autopsy was completed today at the Boone-Callaway County Medical Examiner’s Office, where the death was classified as a homicide.

The name and age of victim are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin and further investigation.
