Governor Eric Greitens made an appearance at the Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico, Missouri this (Thursday) morning for a National Day of Prayer Breakfast.

Pastor of the church Bryce Kristofferson says the governor talked about a scripture in the bible from Joshua 1:9.

Audrain County Presiding Commissioner Steve Hobbs the prayer breakfast at Centennial Baptist Church is a long standing tradition.

Around 45 people from local officials, and law enforcement and educators attended the breakfast this (Thursday) morning.
