A Mexico, Missouri woman is sentenced to one year and one day in prison for embezzling from her employer in a federal court today (Thursday).

According to court records 55 year old Robyn Smith was sentenced today (Thursday) for stealing over two hundred eighteen thousand dollars from her employer’s financial account.

Along with the prison sentence the judge in the case ordered Smith to pay more than sixty five thousand dollars in penalties, fees and expenses incurred by the victim.
