No injuries were reported in a trash truck fire in the 1800 block of Commerce Court in Columbia this morning. [Tuesday]

In order to extinguish the fire, the Columbia Fire Department had to empty the contents of the garbage truck to prevent the blaze from spreading to the vehicle.

Commerce Court at Vandiver was temporarily closed during the incident.
