Montgomery Deputies Uncover Nearly A Pound Of Meth

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Troy man yesterday [Wednesday] morning after finding nearly a pound of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

Deputies requested assistance from the Audrain County K9 Unit, the East Central Drug Task Force and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Audrain K9, Chal, alerted on the 14 ounces of meth and a 9MM handgun.

33 year old Jeremy Darling was taken to the Montgomery County Jail, where 4 hydrocodone pills were located on his person.

He is being held on a 250 thousand dollar cash only bond.
