Lawmakers investigating alleged criminal wrongdoing by Governor Eric Greitens during his campaign are asking the court to force his political committees to produce documents.

The court filing targets Greitens’ gubernatorial campaign committee and an organization called A New Missouri.

Attorney Catherine Hanaway, who represents both committees, said the subpoenas seeking information about A New Missouri are not within the scope of the House investigation.
