Governor Eric Greitens spoke to a large crowd at a Fire Fighters Memorial Service yesterday (Sunday) at the Auxvasse Elementary School.

The 16 annual service was moved from its original location at the Fire Fighters Memorial in Kingdom City due to the weather.

Jeffrey Sanders, Wells Cotton and Captain John Kemper were the three firefighters honored with a bell service by the Fire Fighters Memorial Foundation of Missouri.

Governor Greitens declared yesterday (Sunday) to be Fire Service Memorial Day.
