A training for an active shooter situation is complete.
Dozens of people on the University of Missouri Campus along with the MU Police Department took part in the training.
It took a classroom approach to deal with violent intruder and active shooters incidents.
Participants learned about how to react to the situation while taking an active role in their own survival.
The training is an ongoing effort to ensure that the university is a national model for campus safety.
