An accident in Ralls County yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon has claimed the life of a Laddonia man, and a Mexico man has moderate injuries.
According to the highway patrol it happened on Missouri 19, 1 mile east of Perry when a vehicle driven by 59 year old Darren W. Campbell of Laddonia failed to yield and attempted to make a left hand turn onto westbound Highway 154.
Deputies say Campbell’s vehicle was hit by a tractor trailer driven driven by 58 year old John E. Luebrecht of Mexico.
Campbell was pronounced deceased by a Ralls County Chief Deputy.
Luebrecht was taken to SSM Audrain for treatment.
