The groundbreaking for a new athletic stadium at Westminster College in Fulton took place this afternoon with approximately 100 people in attendance.
The new stadium will include turf, scoreboard, lights, bleachers, press box, concessions, restrooms and other new facility enhancements.
The project was made possible by a 4 million dollar gift from Kent and Judy Mueller.
The field with turf is expected to be completed for the upcoming football season.
