A swimmer is ok after being rescued at the Memorial Park Family Aquatic Center in Jefferson City yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
According to the Jefferson City Parks Department it happened just before 3, life saving techniques were performed by the lifeguard staff and three community members on the man after he was found unresponsive in the water.
The man became alert and refused further treatment.
