Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are praising Missouri Governor Mike Parson’s speech yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
The governor addressed a joint session of the state legislature and said the last few months have seen Missouri politics at its worst and at its best.
Representative Steve Cookson a Republican from Poplar Bluff said Parson’s sincere style is what Missourians need right now.
Columbia Democrat Kip Kendrick said Parson hit on the same themes he would have were he in the same position.
Governor Parson will take the next two days holding town halls across the state.
