Prison To Begin Building Tiny Homes

A new initiative led by the Aspire Partnership Prison Homes Program, an effort led by the Northeast Community Action Corporation, will call for houses to be built inside the men’s prison in Bowling Green.

Completed houses will be a little over 500 square feet, and will be available for purchase for around 45 thousand dollars.

The Carpenter’s Union Apprentice Program will oversee the construction.

A timeline for the start of construction has not yet been set.
