Heat Advisory Through Father’s Day Weekend

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory through 8:00 Monday evening.

A heat advisory is issued when there is expected to be a period of hot temperatures and high humidity. These conditions could lead to heat related illnesses.

Throughout the weekend, heat index values will reach 103.

The National Weather Service recommends staying in an air conditioned location, and avoiding prolonged work in the sun, making sure to stay hydrated.
