Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery Of Meth

The Callaway County Sheriff’s office found drugs during a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a 39 year old Auxvasse man.

According to the department, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of South Main Street on Bart Rigby. A search revealed methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

He was taken in on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Callaway County jail where he posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.
