Power Outage in Cooper and Howard County

The cause of a power outage in Cooper that affected a hospital and over 1800 people over the weekend is unknown.

According to fire officials in Cooper County it started on around 5 on Saturday night.

The areas affected included parts of Cooper and Howard counties.

The Cooper County Memorial Hospital started generators and were able to keep operational during the outage and no patients were affected.

The power was restored later on that night.
